The DS version is easily the worst imo when it comes to design/visuals and animation (and I feel the remade music is a bit inferior too) but its far better than most RPGs still especially with the new additions to the gameplay system. PS1 ver loses points due to some issues with loading/saving GBA gets low score due to the fact that the visual/brightness/color is a bit off and the music is far inferior to other versions. I've played all versions except for the PC version (which I do have) and this is how I score them
In terms of what I personally prefer despite score wise belowĬomplete Collection PSP > Advance GBA > Chronicles IV PS1 > SNES Hardtype/Easy Type > FFIV DS
